Former Accenture COO and Industry Veteran Becomes the Newest Member of the Kony Advisory Board; joining Technology Veteran Michael Capellas and Golf Icon Ben Crenshaw

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–November 17, 2015–

Kony, Inc., the leading enterprise mobility company, today announced the appointment of Stephen J. Rohleder to Kony’s recently formed Advisory Board, effective immediately. As an advisory board member, Rohleder will join golf icon Ben Crenshaw and former Compaq CEO Michael Capellas, who were previously appointed to the Kony Advisory Board.

Rohleder’s career spans more than 30 years at Accenture, a leading global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Steve held multiple senior leadership positions including Accenture’s Global Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Executive for North America, and Chief Executive of the Healthcare and Public Sector.

During his distinguished career, Rohleder has been recognized for his expertise in driving transformational client strategies. As Accenture’s COO, he was responsible for all of Accenture’s global operations (e.g., CIO, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Sales Effectiveness, Geographic Services and the Global Delivery Network) in approximately 50 countries and 175 cities. As Chief Executive of North America, Rohleder led the turnaround of the North American Application Services business. Rohleder also led the development and design of the strategy for Accenture’s US federal business, which resulted in the creation of Accenture Federal Services, a standalone organization responsible for all of Accenture’s government contracts.

“It’s truly an honor to have a business luminary with Steve’s caliber and experience join our board,” said Thomas E. Hogan, chief executive officer, Kony, Inc. “Steve’s breadth of experience at the board and CEO level will be invaluable as we chart our strategy and evolve our offerings.”

“Expertise and innovation in mobile is a requisite for tomorrow’s leaders,” said Rohleder. “Kony could not be better positioned with its acknowledged market-leading portfolio to enable this transformation. I am delighted to partner with Tom and his team to help organizations around the world capitalize on this game-changing technology.”

Kony was recently named a “Leader” for the third consecutive year, with strong advancements in vision and execution, in Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrant for Mobile Application Development Platforms (MADP).
