PRESS RELEASE:
NEC Europe, DS Smith & The Global Fund are among the customers to speak at European Executive Symposium in Amsterdam
AMSTERDAM–(BUSINESS WIRE)–April 7, 2016–
Coupa Software, a leader in cloud-based spend management, will host its second annual European Executive Symposium in Amsterdam on April 13 to explore how Chief Information Officers (CIO), Chief Procurement Officers (CPO) and Chief Financial Officers (CFO) can collaborate strategically to achieve measurable results. The event will kick off at 7:45 CET at the former Amsterdam Stock Exchange, De Beurs Van Berlage.
The event will include a panel discussion hosted by Coupa’s Executive Strategic Advisor Kendra Von Esh on how the C-Suite can achieve success in spend management by working as a cross-functional team. The panel will include C-level spokespeople from NEC Europe, ENGIE UK, The Global Fund, and DS Smith.
“This event presents a great opportunity for our customers to get involved in the conversation about innovation and making measurable impact in business,” said Von Esh, former CIO at Veolia. “The line-up of speakers includes some of the most respected executives from across various sectors, and I am looking forward to hearing some of the insights and discussions that will come out of the panel.”
Patricia Wilson, head of procurement operations & infrastructure at Swiss Re, will speak about Swiss Re’s journey to efficient procurement. In her presentation, Wilson will highlight how Swiss Re has been able to secure substantial, measurable savings using the Coupa platform.
Coupa’s Vice President of Global Product Compliance Markus Hornbug will also host a roundtable on “e-Invoicing & Compliance in Europe” highlighting trends in the industry and providing an opportunity to share best practice.
The Symposium will host executives from various sectors, highlighting and discussing how they have innovated and transformed their organisations by improving processes, taking control of their spend and generating real, measurable savings.
“We’re anticipating a highly collaborative and solution-seeking forum of open dialogue and spirited debate,” said Rob Bernshteyn, CEO at Coupa. “Our Symposium is a wonderful opportunity for global decision-makers across functions to bring their experiences and ideas together, all in the spirit of continually driving ever-improving results in the world of spend management.”
