With that, NextEV has promised to create more than 900 jobs in the state by 2020 in exchange for the tax credits, many of which will be in research and development. We thank the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development for helping us bring jobs to California,” stated Padmasree Warrior, CEO of NextEV US and Chief Development Officer of NextEV.
Senator, Bob Wieckowski, the chair of the Senate’s Environmental Quality Committee who represents the district where NextEV is located stated: “I was pleased to support NextEV’s application because it will lead to the acceleration of significant job growth and investment in Silicon Valley and throughout California.
