Besides inviting the 8 biggest YouTubers and streamers in Germany, Brazil’s most popular online personality also made an appearance at the LoA2 booth and streamed directly to fans back in Brazil. Well-known Cosplayers from all over Europe also gathered at the booth for pictures with the Angels and the fans. The booth featured its own local band playing live music to energize the crowd. Another big hit was the League of Angels II AR area, where fans could step into the world of LoA2 and take a picture with a beautiful Angel in virtual 3D.
Khaled Helioui, CEO of Bigpoint, and Wanqin Liu, VP of Youzu Interactive and Executive Manager of its Global Studio, were both present to greet fans and the press. Youzu’s “League of Angels” IP has been making great strides in 2016, first with the huge release of League of Angels II and then getting featured by Facebook multiple times. After Youzu’s acquisition of Bigpoint, the franchise is taking it to the next level.
League of Angels II is the first game that Youzu and Bigpoint are jointly promoting. Thanks to Bigpoint’s vast experience and knowledge operating in Europe, the game’s latest cinematic CG trailer was aired on TV channels, gaming sites, and other media outlets in countries like Germany, France, and Spain. Now Youzu and Bigpoint have come together for the biggest joint effort between China and Germany in the industry for Gamescom, and beyond.
