Vikram brings over 26 years of industry experience to KAAZING, including 12 years of progressively responsible positions in sales, marketing and executive management at Hewlett Packard, including general manager, Enterprise Servers, Americas. He brokered the spin out of Nortel’s Blade Server Switch Business Unit (BSSBU), establishing BLADE Network Technologies as an independent company in February 2006. Vikram led the company through its acquisition in October 2010, delivering an 11x return to the company’s investors. Vikram came to Nortel through its acquisition of Alteon Web Systems where he laid the foundation for what became Nortel’s BSSBU.
In 2009, Vikram was honored as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Emerging category Award winner for the Northern California Region, and inducted into the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Hall of Fame. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® awards program honors entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Vikram is an Australian national and has lived and worked in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and the USA.
