He also held senior marketing and engineering positions at Conexant Systems (formerly Maker Communications), Shiva Corporation, and LSI Logic. Mr. Harper has a BSEE and MSEE from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard University.

David Gilbert also brings over 20 years of operations, general management, and manufacturing experience from the semiconductor, MEMS, and consumer electronics industries. Prior to joining Qualtré, Mr. Gilbert was Vice President of Backend Manufacturing at Lilliputian Systems, an innovator of MEMS solid oxide fuel cells for consumer electronic products. Previously, he led Midé Technology Corporation through seven years of record revenue and profit growth and held senior management positions at Cymer (an ASML company), Analog Devices, Active Control eXperts, and Raytheon. Mr. Gilbert has a BSIE from Purdue University and completed Raytheon’s Manufacturing Management Development Program.

“Each of these leaders brings significant passion, knowledge and skills to Qualtré’s foundation as an innovator and leading supplier of BAW MEMS motion sensors for industrial and high-end consumer applications,” said Edgar Masri, President and CEO of Qualtré. “Their combined experience will immediately accelerate our production and marketing efforts, bring our unique and highly competitive sensor technology to design engineers, and help create long-term strategic relationships with a growing list of customers.”

Qualtré was recently cited by EETimes as one of the top 15 MEMS/Analog startups to watch in 2015. Previously, Qualtré was included in the EETimes list: “Silicon 60: Hot Startups.”
