NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–March 30, 2015–
Augure, the European market leader in Influencer Engagement software, has just announced that it has raised $16 Million to finance its expansion over the next 3 years.
Through this investment the company wants to become the worldwide market leader in the ever- growing field known as Word-of-Mouth marketing. According to the I Influencer Marketing status Report published by Augure in 2014, 60% of all marketing and PR professionals are already investing in influencer programs.
Augure has already been helping more than 1,500 brands in 30 different countries to create winning “word-of-mouth” strategies by building successful relationships with their key influencers. A report published in September 2014 by Kim Celestre, senior analyst at Forrester Research,¹ mentions Augure as one of the 5 solutions worldwide helping brands to improve influencer identification.
With the additional capital investment, Augure will further intensify its on-going innovation program with INRIA, the prestigious French research laboratory. Its goal is, by applying machine learning techniques, to help brands better plan, execute and accurately measure the ROI within their Influencer programs.
International development has also become one of Augure’s priority: the company is planning to establish a beach-head in the USA by opening its pioneer office in NYC in June, 2015.
By carrying out this highly growth plan, the firm that had a total $10 Million turnover in 2014 wants to triple this figure by 2018, having a global staff of more than 200 highly trained professionals.
Michael Jaïs, CEO and founder of Augure and Amélie Faure, Augure’s chairman -recently voted as one of the 50 most inspiring women in European Tech-, reaffirm themselves through this operation as two of the leading figures in the European technology arena.
